Spring is in the Air
As the colder days of winter begin to fade, the arrival of spring brings with it a renewed sense of positivity, energy, and hope. At Orchard Healthcare, this change of season is always a welcome one. The longer days, warmer sunshine, and the sight of nature coming back to life can have a wonderful effect on wellbeing for both our team and the people we support.
After months of darker mornings and chilly weather, spring reminds us how powerful a little sunshine can be. Brighter days often encourage people to get outside more, enjoy fresh air, and spend time with others. For our service users, this shift in the seasons can make a real difference. Many people find that the sunshine lifts their mood, increases motivation, and creates more opportunities for enjoyable activities. Even something as simple as sitting by a sunny window, taking a short walk, or chatting with friends can feel that little bit more special.

One exciting event we’re looking forward to this spring is our Charity Bingo Afternoon, taking place on 4th April at the Orchard Healthcare offices. This event promises to be a fun and friendly gathering where people can come together, enjoy some games, and support a great cause.
There will be a variety of fantastic prizes up for grabs, generously donated by local attractions including Majestic Cinema, The Sea Life Centre, The Chocolate Factory, and many more. It’s a great opportunity to win something special while also raising funds for charity.
Events like this are about more than just the prizes—they’re about creating joyful moments, bringing people together, and building a strong sense of community. Our service users always enjoy the excitement of a good game of bingo, and it’s wonderful to see the smiles, laughter, and friendly competition that come with it.
